STOCKPORT MILE
GIFTED SCULPTURE TRAIL

The Stockport Mile Gifted Sculpture Trail has been created by art students and a graduate from Stockport College to mark the opening of the new ‘Viaduct Park’ and as part of the Town of Culture weekender celebrations.

Celebrating what Stockport has individually gifted, or has given students, the sculptures explore the special associations or connections each artist has with the town, through physical form, story telling, ceramics, industrial materials, collage, mark-making and textiles.

Visitors are invited to walk the One Mile route, stopping to view the different sculptures, in different venues along the way, as part of this temporary exhibition trail.
